The trick to using the dryer only portion of this LG Direct Drive Inverter motion combo washer and dryer. is not to touch the wash dial in any way. Just pretend is not there,
STEP 1
Turn on the washer by pressing the power button
STEP 2
Just to reiterate, do not touch the wash dial on the left in any way. leave it go as if it doesn't exist
STEP 3
Adjust the dryer knob on right (the little diameter knob that's a silver or metal color (at least on my version :). change it to the dry style you want
Also, make the spin speed what you wish by pressing the button that adjusts the spin (on my version this is a white button:)
there! you should be on your way to using only the dryer and not the wash ( dry cycle only ) on your washer dryer combo\
